About

jason_sidesMy name is Jason Pensa. I’ve grown up in the greater Chicago-land-area for most of my short life thus far. I hope that the one thing I’ll be remembered for when I am dead is that I lived my life for Jesus.  I like watching movies, particularly ones with well written story-lines and thought provoking characters.  I hope to someday make movies and thought-provoking films.  I have a drive for reading books, particularly those by C.S. Lewis, but basically love reading anything written by Christians even those who have been dead for centuries.  I like being outdoors; I think there’s just something about sitting on a covered porch when it’s windy, cloudy and threatening to storm.  I like good coffee and have worked as a barista at a number of coffee shops in my life.  I love hanging out with close friends, getting to know people and hearing their stories.  I love making people laugh and would like to be a small-time stand up comedian if I could come up with funny material on my own.  I enjoy sitting around a campfire and telling stories. I have a goal to drive just about everything that has a combustion motor in it.  I also enjoy off-road biking on my mountain bike.  I like road trips and long car rides with the windows rolled down and good music cranked up.  If you know me, you know I like to think and like to make people laugh.  I know that God has called me into ministry full-time.  I graduated from the Moody Bible Institute with a BA in Youth Ministry.  Right now He has called me to serve as a youth pastor in New England.

“Let us hold fast to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” Heb. 10:23
