Death and Forgiveness

Posted by Jason Pensa on Dec 7, 2009 in Videos

In order to humble yourself to ask for forgiveness, your pride must die and you must submit to a sort of “death”. But the freedom and life that overflows into your life from humbling yourself to ask God or another person for forgiveness is indescribable. The invitation is to die to yourself, to humble your pride enough to admit you were wrong and that you need mercy and pardon. Do this and through death you will have life. Do it not, and the turmoil, the burden of guilt that will suffocate you inside will be a far worse torturous death.
